Supersonic Baseball Cannon

5 lectures, 1 hr 50 min in all

Before YouTube and the endless stream of videos of insane contraptions doing absurdly cool things, I had day-dreamed about building a supersonic baseball cannon. I worked in weapons testing and would use large air cannons a lot. I loved baseball. My imagination and curiosity longed to see if I could make a baseball break the sound barrier. This playlist chronicles that quest and it's fun aftermath of exploding baseballs, shockwaves and vaporized rainbow sprinkles and mayonnaise.
