Show description

The Finite Element Method/Analysis is an incredibly powerful way to model the real world. By discretizing a continuous medium you can accurately simulate the real world. Simulating a living organism like the heart is really challenging because you have to add things like electrical conductivity to your model. But perhaps more challenging is to bring together all the experts from different disciplines. But it has finally been achieved.
